B · Market thesis

Regulated markets,
opening in sequence.

MedCana is preparing its first pharmaceutical-flower shipment to Australia — in process as of June 4, 2026 — and has twice delivered CBD to Switzerland, indirectly through a Colombian partner. It grows in Colombia, where pharmaceutical flower is legal and domestic sales clearance is pending, is preparing to export its next CBD crop to the Czech Republic, and has customers waiting in the UK and Germany — with Brazil tracked as a major future market.

Preparing first pharmaceutical-flower shipment.

MedCana is preparing its first shipment of pharmaceutical-grade flower to Australia, in process as of June 4, 2026. The country's legal cannabis market was estimated at $123.9M in 2024 and is expected to reach $186.4M in 2025, compounding at 23.7% CAGR through 2030. We participate directly through our Australian subsidiary, ColCanna Flower Company Ltd, which holds the import and distribution licenses.

Market 02 · Switzerland — CBD delivered (indirect)

Two CBD deliveries — sold indirectly.

MedCana CBD has been delivered to Switzerland twice, indirectly — sold in Colombia to a partner company that exported it. The company is now preparing to export its next CBD crop directly to the Czech Republic, converting an existing trade relationship into a direct revenue channel.

Market 03 · Colombia — Home market

Market 05 · Brazil — Major future market

Recreational cannabis is already legal.

This is the opportunity that could reshape MedCana's scale. Recreational cannabis is already legal in Brazil — and the country is now expected to build its regulatory framework around pharmaceutical-grade standards. For a producer already cultivating to that grade, that is decisive: it means MedCana would meet the bar a national market is built on. With an estimated 360 tonnes of monthly consumption, Brazil is the single largest opportunity on MedCana's horizon — and the company is positioning now to enter the moment the framework opens.

Wider Europe Expanding

Over a dozen European countries now run medical-cannabis programmes, with the medical segment projected at €2–4B by 2028.

C · Strategic objectives

What we'll do
with the capital.

Three priorities, in order. Everything else is sequencing.

Objective 01

Launch the full Colombia operation.

Scale the Antioquia site to a 10-hectare (25-acre) build of pharmaceutical-grade greenhouses, complete GACP-aligned certification, and bring the seven licensed operators into a single coordinated production schedule. This is the bedrock — everything else depends on it shipping audit-grade product reliably.

Objective 02

Expand certified distribution globally.

Convert our positioning across Australia and the European medical markets into actual offtake contracts. Develop the Tokan ERP as a later phase, with SaaS licensing as a future wedge — selling SaaS subscriptions to other cannabis producers who need traceability, then convert them into distribution partners.

Objective 03

Build a credible ESG footprint.

Community impact and environmental stewardship matter to regulators, hospitals, and institutional investors. Our farm sits in a community we employ, watered by springs we protect, audited by a software stack we wrote. This is not a marketing posture — it's how the operation already runs.

D · Why pharma-grade

The premium isn't optional.

Recreational and pharmaceutical cannabis look superficially similar and trade at very different prices. What separates them is documentation: consistent cannabinoid profiles, validated terpene panels, heavy-metal and pesticide screens, full batch traceability, and licensed production conditions.

Hospitals, importers, and pharmacies across Germany, the UK, and Australia will not buy from producers who can't deliver that documentation. The cost of producing it is non-trivial, which is why most cannabis companies don't — and why the companies that do command meaningfully higher prices.

MedCana's strategy is to be one of the small number of companies on the supply side of that equation.
